Day beds with trundle – A daybed is different from a trundle bed. Daybed, also called a sofa or chaise longue can be displayed as a sofa, but it is also a single bed. Roll bed, on other hand, is a simple, stand-alone bed that receives from and into bottom of a larger bed. Trundle bed is known to have existed since 16th century and daybed since 17th century.
