DIY Dinosaur Bedding Twin

Make your own custom bed allows you to create a special place for your child without spending a fortune. For example, if your little one wants a dinosaur bedroom, use a piece of plywood and paint to create a custom dinosaur bed, shaped like his favorite prehistoric creature.

Outline the shape of a dinosaur on a piece of 1/2-inch plywood. Use a picture of a dinosaur book or online resource as a guide. Do dinosaur body length of the mattress. Paint details about dinosaur after layer dries the base, including the eyes, nose and a mouth. Use a dinosaur image for details reference. Let the paint dry overnight. Seal the surface of the dinosaur with an acrylic spay sealant. Spray the surface of the wood cutting according to the bottle directions. Let it dry overnight. Attach the dinosaur on the wall where you want the bed to be using a hammer and nails. Place the nails 1 inch in from the outer edge of the dinosaur bedding twin, each 12 inches, for the best results. Place a bedframe against dinosaur that runs the length of the dinosaur’s body, and set up the bed.
